CNY... is the festive season that everyone had been excited about im sure. xD
what excited me more than ang paos, is the many gatherings that once again brought us together.

Throughout Chong Hwa years, I have been the most quiet, but not anymore. LOL
it was great seeing old classmates again.

how's your CNY so far?



CNY came and passed. How's mine? CNY has been great for me! :) it's far more eventful and there'll be more CNY gatherings to come!
(one for NEC's BMS2A and another, for my clique from high school) ^________^ *happy* last Saturday i joined a high school CNY gathering, which turned out to be a great outing. going to blog about it soon. after i collect all the pictures taken throughout the day. :P
in the mean time, i will share with you all, some of the pictures taken while i was at my granny's place in Penang.

CNY.. part 1

Chinese New Year.. brings all together under one roof.
Yet, is the heart still attached to the root of the family?
is everything as it once were?

closeness

everywhere we go we want to feel like we are a part of something. may it be a family, clique, association and more. throughout our lives, we have lots of identity. not just one, but more than one. but of course, there's always one main identity, which we may regard it as our "constant". the one identity that we can always refer back to, that is always there.
CNY is here. most of us would trace back to our source, to the root of our origin in this social system- family. Family, how close are you to your family? pretty close, most of us would say. are you close enough to reveal the true you? do you trust each other enough to reveal the possibly scared soul that has been tormented by the reality of the world? YES of course. that's what family's for. trusting one another and also at the same time, act as the healer for our lost souls.
Today, most of us are lost souls. may it be city lost souls, money lost souls, lost souls of lust and greed... and more. Family, hence, is one of the structure which act as a reminder to us, remind us of who we are, or who we once were.
