risk, is rewarding

as you read this, you probably is already a risk taker, although you may not realised that.
whenever you challenge the norms, whether at school or at work, you are taking a risk. and for every reasonable risk, there is one potential reward that you can get directly. striking up a conversation in some unfamiliar places might get you a new friend and helps you to develop a new network.

Fear is a powerful beast that always trying to beat you down. it gives you negative thinking and have negative perception of how things will turn out in the end. No end results will be as devastating as the end of the world. and so where the fear comes from? what you fear of? humiliation? well.. frankly speaking, it is in human nature that people do not really care how much you humiliate yourself. people care more of how you think of them than to worry about you. they care not and might never notice your slight change of hairstyle of any of that sort.. what they have of you is just general impression. so why not step a little out of line, from anyone in the herd to make you noticed more? whether in your work place or school? you might leave good impression to your boss or lecturers and they will tend to notice you more for the efforts you put in.

Fear is a terrible hindrance and the downfall of many intelligent men and women who has so much to offer to the world... Conquer that fear by realising what the fear is and you conquer yourself.
there is this saying goes.. when you want to do something, tell yourself "i can do this". and when you are ready, start chanting "i am going to do this". and when you are about to do the task or whatever you might feel dreaded the most, repeatedly tell yourself "i am doing this"..
and then, as the popular advertisement motto goes "JUST DO IT!"
