when you realised you are a CLONE

nothing seems more normal than the life you are having
you breathe, you feel and you live.
happy or not
this is your life.
you accept and you take it and make the most out of it.
what if...
when you thought everything is real and solid
there's nothing more disastrous than to hear that you are merely a carbon copy of one other human who look just like you.
or more disastrous to know that you are not as special as you think you are.
that's absurd.
how can you not be the unique one?
how can there be someone else just like you?
you believe that you are special, one of a kind...
but you are not that special at all.
you read through the same books, were taught with same ideas under the same education system, were inspired by the same role models, addicted to the same predictable popular culture...
we are the same.
how can you not?
you are merely a clone of what the people in power creates.
you are nothing.
nothing, really.
not until you realised the truth and fight against it.
but how many will realised it before it is too late?
even when you realised it, are you strong enough to make a change?

note: a mixture of inspiration by The Island; Fight Club; 1984; the Matrix

  2. lol nice post i like it ^^

I truly believe that everyone is special, and each individuals has their own character to differentiate from others.

stuffs like education, upbringing, role models etc are just influences.
it's you who choose whether to be influenced or not.

like myself i absorb the knowledge/experiences that i want, and filter out those that i don't want. hence taking those factors as reasons why everyone is the SAME is just plain excuses.

    everyone is unique.
it's just that whether you have the confidence & guts to admit it (or not) and stand out from the rest.

PS: i luvvv the matrix trilogy XD seldom see a gal that like it too...

  3. I agree Mr. Bryan...

everyone is special in the sense of the way we perceive this world.

my post on this issue though, is a kind of radical thinking on capitalism~ on ideology and stuff. it is arguable of whether those people under the influence of the ideology truly the same. Those ideology works in controlling most people, but not all. some will be brave enough to stand up and fight for what they believe~ because they dare to be different and take the first step to make a change. ^^

yes, i like the MATRIX trilogy~ i think you will enjoy 1984 and Fight Club as well. xD

  4. "Everyone is unique"
yea sure...everyone of us is unique. But have you wondered why a couple of billion people out there agreed on the same thing that: "Everyone one of us is unique"?

If there are so many ppl agreeing on the same thing, does it mean that we are all act the same and we are not actually unique?

I hate to break it to you. You are a clone! Its just that your clone doesn't look like you. (I know this is false, but I always wanted to say that to someone. Guess you gave me an oppurtunity to do so)
